The workshop uses a worksheet packet that helps the members write down thoughts, keep track of information, and to be used as a resource in the future. At the workshop members listen to experienced leaders, participate in small & large group activities, and use critical thinking to assess their own leadership.

In the aftermath, there was extensive press coverage of Wood and his work with Uncomfortable Learning which resulted in widespread attention to the issue of campus censorship and cemented Wood’s conviction that engaging with an opposing perspective is a catalyst for truly meaningful education.
